A Unique Service for People with Memory Difficulties.

What you can expect
  • We offer a warm welcome with refreshments and two hours of socialising and sing along.

  • A chance to meet and chat with others in similar circumstances.

  • A programme of music, song, laughter and fun, and being accepted by all.

  • Tea and cake.

What does it do?
  • Singing has long been acknowledged as the most important activity for unlocking the memory.

  • People with memory difficulties can recall words of songs and melodies long after other memories fade.

  • Through music, confidence, mood and self esteem are boosted.

  • Music stimulates the brain, enabling people to recall the words of a song.

But I can't sing!
  • We are not a choir; we have a sing-a-long with old favourites.

  • Join in as much or as little as you want.
